PrivacyTerms of useCookies

These terms are between you and ShareHub ApS, the publisher of ZovelyHub. They apply when you use the ZovelyHub television application or this website.

1.What ZovelyHub is

ZovelyHub is a media player for Smart TVs. It plays media from a source you supply and connect yourself.

It includes no channels, playlists, films, series, subscriptions or media content of any kind, and none are sold here. Nothing you pay us buys access to content. If you need a source, you obtain it from a provider of your choosing, on their terms and at their price.

2.Your sources are your responsibility

You may only connect playlists, addresses, accounts and media you have the legal right to access and use. You are responsible for what you add to the application and for complying with the terms of whoever supplies it. We do not review, host, index, curate or endorse the content of any source you connect.

We may suspend or end an activation used to break these terms or the law.

3.Activation, trial and licence

An activation licenses the ZovelyHub application on one television. The activations offered, their price and their duration are shown on the activation page at the time you buy, and those are the terms that apply to your purchase.

A free trial is available once per television, before any payment. It starts when you activate the television, and the application shows the days remaining while it runs. When a trial or a term expires the player stops until an activation is chosen; your playlists, favourites and settings are kept.

The licence is personal to the television it was issued for and may not be resold, sub-licensed or transferred as a commercial product.

4.Payment and the right of withdrawal

Payment is taken by our payment provider on their own page. We never receive or store your card details.

As a consumer in the EU you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase. Because an activation is digital content delivered immediately, you are asked to consent to it being supplied at once and to acknowledge that doing so ends the withdrawal right, as permitted by the Consumer Agreements Act implementing Directive 2011/83/EU. The free trial exists so you can test ZovelyHub on your own television, with your own playlist, before paying anything.

If an activation you paid for does not work on the television it was issued for and we cannot make it work, write to support@zovelyhub.com and we will refund it. Your statutory rights under Danish consumer law are not affected by anything in these terms.

5.Availability and compatibility

ZovelyHub is published for LG Smart TVs running webOS. Store availability and compatibility depend on your television model and your region; check both before purchasing. A Samsung Tizen build is in preparation and is not published — nothing sold here is sold on the promise of a future platform.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Playback also depends on your television, your network and your provider, none of which we control.

6.Changes to the application

We improve and change ZovelyHub over time, and a television store may deliver those updates automatically. We will not remove a feature that is central to an activation you have already paid for within its term.

7.Open-source components

ZovelyHub includes third-party open-source software, including libav.js (0BSD) and FFmpeg libraries (LGPL 2.1). Their notices and the corresponding sources are published on our support page. You may replace the separate LGPL library assets with compatible modified versions and reverse engineer for debugging those modifications, as the LGPL permits.

Those LGPL rights are granted by the licence itself and are not restricted by anything in these terms. Where this document and an open-source licence disagree about the software that licence covers, the open-source licence wins.

8.Liability

ZovelyHub is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data held only on your television, or for anything caused by a source you connected or by your provider. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9.Ending it

You may stop using ZovelyHub at any time by uninstalling it. That does not delete server-side records — see the privacy policy for how to have those removed. We may end an activation that is used unlawfully or in breach of clause 2.

10.Law and contact

These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes belong to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in the country where you live.

Questions about these terms: support@zovelyhub.com.
